Still Waiting

Well I'm still pregnant :) We did have a little excitement on Tuesday.  I had contractions at work for about two hours.  Went for a long walk when I got home and they really picked up both in strength and got really close together.  I was so excited and was convinced today was the day. 

They say that when you think you're in labor you should eat something, drink something, take a walk, take a shower and take a nap.  If after all of these activities, you're still having contractions it's probably the real thing. So I had eaten, drank a glass of water and had my walk...next up was the shower and nap.  The contractions slowed down while I was in the shower and then completely stopped once I laid down.

They may have made some progress though. When I went in to the Dr. on Wednesday I was 2cm dilated - an increase from a few days before.

I'm scheduled to be induced Tuesday morning if he doesn't come before then. My parents will be here tomorrow.  While I'm anxiously waiting for him to arrive, part of me would like a day or so with my mom to do some last minute errands and have a little fun before he gets here.

Today is officially my last day of work - I'm not coming in on Monday, even if he hasn't arrived :)  We'll keep you all updated on when Owen Lars decides to make his debut.
